A note of the current situation in Sri Lanka
Sri Lanka is returning to normal. After a turbulent start to the year, the new government is putting things in order. The crisis never eventuated, fuel, gas and other essentials are now available, and the prices are coming back down. There is a new hint of optimism on the streets, with tourists now visible on the waves again!

But it’s still quiet, so it may be the best opportunity to visit Sri Lanka. No one tells you this, but for a little while, it was packed. Now, it feels lush. Big open beaches, calm cafes, and half-empty world-class surf spots. We love it, and we think you will as well.

Sri Lanka, travel and Covid-19
There are now no restrictions for entering Sri Lanka, and no barrier to your trip here.

Deposit and refund policy
Upon yoga teacher training application, a €400 non-refundable, but a transferable deposit will be required to hold your space. You are free to adjust the date as many times as needed within reason. Please note date changes are limited to more than 60 days before the training starts. 

Full payment is due to a minimum of 45 days prior to that date. If you apply less than 45 days prior to the commencement date, specific arrangements will be made to have the full fee paid prior to the start of the training. 

If the balance of the course fee is not received by the notified due date, your place may be offered to someone on the waiting list, and you will forfeit the deposit paid. The price is the exact amount to be received by us, irrespective of fluctuations in currency and irrespective of any third-party transfer charges. If you choose to pay by electronic transfer, please instruct your bank to charge all costs to you in order to avoid a shortfall in the amount that we receive.

Refund and canceling policies
If such cancellation is made 45 days or less before the start of the YTT, we will retain the full amount. However, if another person can be found to take your place, then we may offer you a 50% refund at our discretion.

Once the YTT has begun, no refund or part refund, or unused portion of the YTT will be repaid in the event of cancellation by you. Bookings are for the stated period of the YTT. There are no refunds for any unused portion of a YTT.

In the unlikely circumstance that Stefan Camilleri Yoga has to cancel the training, Stefan Camilleri Yoga will refund the full amount paid up to that date.

Stefan Camilleri Yoga will NOT refund any other costs including but not limited to costs associated with flights, transfers or transfer flights, or any other costs that may have been incurred.

Students need to purchase Travel Insurance to cover any situation that may arise, such as illness, change of ticket dates, family emergency, acts of God, war, closure of airports, etc.

NOTE: In the instance that refunds are required, Stefan Camilleri Yoga requests that you MUST contact your Travel Insurance Company in the first instance, to claim what is available. We will then pay any remaining refund amount in accordance with our policy above.

In the event that the training needs to be postponed due to restrictions or outcomes of Covid-19 your place will be secured at a future training of your choosing. Your deposit will not be refundable but rather transferable in this situation.

Stefan Camilleri Yoga does not accept any responsibility or liability for cancellations, delays, changes, or losses caused by further acts of God, war, the threat of war, closure of airports, civil strife, natural disasters, accidents, or any other events beyond our control. The same waiving of all liabilities also applies to students’ injuries, illnesses, medical or psychiatric conditions.

Special COVID-19 policies
Travel arrangements are your responsibility. We shall not be held liable for any consequences arising from delays or cancellations in any of the companies you may have made arrangements with, or for any irregularities in your documentation required for travel.

We advise you to book flights only once you have insurance that will cover a postponement, and at a date that is closer to the training to be sure all is going ahead. We recommend a 30-day lead time before confirming flights.

Due to the volatility of current events, changes may have to be made to the details of the course. We reserve the right to make any changes necessary. 

Privacy Policy
Your privacy is important to us. It is Stefan Camilleri Yoga’s policy to respect your privacy regarding any information we may collect from you across our website, https://stefancamilleriyoga.com, and other sites we own and operate.

We only ask for personal information when we truly need it to provide a service to you. We collect it by fair and lawful means, with your knowledge and consent. We also let you know why we’re collecting it and how it will be used.

We only retain collected information for as long as necessary to provide you with your requested service. What data we store, we’ll protect within commercially acceptable means to prevent loss and theft, as well as unauthorised access, disclosure, copying, use, or modification.

We don’t share any personally identifying information publicly or with third parties, except when required to by law.

Our website may link to external sites that are not operated by us. Please be aware that we have no control over the content and practices of these sites, and cannot accept responsibility or liability for their respective privacy policies.

You are free to refuse our request for your personal information, with the understanding that we may be unable to provide you with some of your desired services.
