terms and conditions
Please note this document has been updated and refined to take into consideration Covid-19 and its potential ramifications on travel and your ability to plan into the future. We have made our policies as flexible as possible so you can feel confident in booking with us.
Yoga teacher trainings and retreats
Upon yoga, teacher training application, a €400 non-refundable, but transferable deposit will be required to hold your space. Upon the yoga retreat application, a €250 non-refundable, but a transferable deposit will be required to hold your space.
Due to the situation with Covid-19 you are able to adjust your date further into the future if you need, although we ask for you to do this as soon as you know you won’t be coming. There is a limit on 30 days before the training that we need to know.
Full payment is due to a minimum of 25 days prior to training start date and participants agree to pay any outstanding balance no later than this date.
If you apply to the training less than 25 days prior to the commencement date (in some cases this may be earlier, but you will be advised if different upon booking). Specific arrangements will be made with you to have the full fee paid prior to the start of the training.
The price is the exact amount to be received by us, irrespective of fluctuations in currency and irrespective of any third-party transfer charges. If you choose to pay by electronic transfer, please instruct your bank to charge all costs to you in order to avoid a shortfall in the amount that we receive.
If the missed contact hours are due to the event of sickness or other circumstances Stefan Camilleri and his guest teachers will work closely with the student to ensure the student can attain their certificate.
Arriving late and leaving early from sessions contributes to non-attendance, and total time absent is noted by facilitators, subtracted from the total time of the program, and counts against the minimum required attendance.
If the balance of the course fee is not received by the notified due date (minimum of 25 days prior to course commencement), a student’s place may be offered to someone on the waiting list, and the student will forfeit the deposit paid.
If the student withdraws 30 days or more prior to course commencement, the student will be eligible to transfer to a future course.
If such cancellation is made 25 days or less before the start of the YTT/ retreat, we will retain the full cost paid. However, if another person can be found to take your place, then we may offer you a 50% refund at our discretion.
Once the YTT/ retreat has begun, no refund or part refund or unused portion of the YTT/ retreat will be repaid in the event of cancellation by you. Bookings are for the stated period of the YTT/ retreat. There are no refunds for any unused portion of the YTT/ retreat. If the reason for cancellation is covered under the terms of your Insurance Policy, you may be able to make a claim.
In the unlikely circumstance that Stefan Camilleri Yoga has to cancel the training, Stefan Camilleri Yoga will refund the full amount paid up to that date.
Stefan Camilleri Yoga will NOT refund any other costs including but not limited to costs associated with flights, transfers or transfer flights, or any other costs that may have incurred.
Students need to purchase Travel Insurance to cover any situation that may arise, such as illness, change of ticket dates, family emergency, acts of God, war, closure of airports, etc.
NOTE: In the instance that refunds are required, Stefan Camilleri Yoga requests that you MUST contact your Travel Insurance Company in the first instance, to claim what is available. We will then pay any remaining refund amount in accordance with our policy above.
In the event that the training needs to be postponed due to restrictions or outcomes of Covid-19 your place will be secured at a future training of your choosing. Your deposit will not be refundable but rather transferable in this situation.
Stefan Camilleri Yoga does not accept any responsibility or liability for cancellations, delays, changes, or losses caused by further acts of God, war, the threat of war, closure of airports, civil strife, natural disasters, accidents, or any other events beyond our control. The same waiving of all liabilities also applies to students’ injuries, illnesses, medical or psychiatric conditions.
Special COVID-19 policies

We advise you to book flights only once you have insurance that will cover a postponement, and at a date which is closer to the training to be sure all is going ahead. We recommend a 30-day lead time before confirming flights.

If accommodation has to be changed, we will do our utmost to provide accommodation of a similar or higher rating. If a significant change becomes necessary, we will inform you as soon as reasonably possible.
